Process Engineer/NPI Engineer - Join a Market Leader

Roles And Responsibilities 

• Received customer's mould opening notice, transferred 3D\2D\Ai into department folder and make the mould opening review of new products.
• Register new products in SAP system.
• NPI stage follow up until mass production, some products need secondary process, know to study, and understand prepare jig and fixture needed with internal or external, able to negotiate with customer or vendor on process idea, packaging study cost saving to company, multi-tasking.
• Need to join tool test, study process together production some time together with customer, propose idea to improve or any jig and fixture study propose to simplify the process. Respond to customer complaints and initiate action.
• Must communicate with production for testing outcome, conduct meeting after tool test together tool maker and internal team, improvement idea, meet customer test requirement.
• Prepare Tool test report, Work Instruction, Packaging Standard, Quality Procedure & related document. Coordinate with production & QA for the daily operation support to make sure follow SOP.
• Assist on production during NPI stage on critical measurement study together with production and QA on development stage.
• Prepare the part approval document such as APQP, PPAP compile together measurement report, samples and submit to project PIC.
• Any ECN receive must understand the procedure flow out to related department also document filling as record.
• Analysing market and industry product trends.
• Determining product feasibility costs and return on investments.
• Developing design ideas based on customer interests, budgets and market research.
• Creating rough product design using sketches and computer software and conducting theoretical testing on design models.
• Selecting product materials and designing the product manufacturing process.
• Overseeing production and ensuring that product conform to market specifications and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years working experience in plastic injection moulding.
• Knowledge in plastic injection & manufacturing process is must.
• Skill in follow up tool test.
• Understand on process document preparation.
• Understand read drawing for checking product spec requirement.
• Knowledge in handle ECN procedure.
• Good verbal and written communication skills - English, Malay and Mandarin( liaise with HQ Team and Customer)
• Computer literacy - Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Excellent prioritization and organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities with

little to no supervision, attention to detail and meticulous record-keeping capability.
