Your Mission:

1. To ensure environmental, health and safety rules and guidelines are being adhered to and maintain high safety standard and a safe working environment.
2. To lead, motivate and communicate with production team to achieve the production goals and KPI.
3. To plan and coordinate day-to-day production activities to meet production schedule and internal requirement.
4. To manage manpower and shift roster, ensuring all resources are efficiently utilized in the execution of production activities.
5. To plan and coordinate the start-up or shutdown activities of operation units or facilities according to the approved operating procedures and general instructions.
6. To provide technical advice and guidance to production team in related to plant operation matters and process troubleshooting.
7. To communicate all plant updates or related information to the production team, and ensure the management is kept informed of all production, quality and EHS related issues.
8. To ensure operating staffs are appropriately trained and assessed, and competent to fulfil their job responsibilities to the highest standards.
9. To perform regular audit to ensure proper and complete records of operating data, instrument readings, documentation and results of laboratory analyses in logbooks and production logsheets.
10. To analyze and report on plant operational performance on monthly basis including production performance, plant downtime, utilities consumption and overall plant achievement.
11. To identify, recommend, implement and monitor optimum operating setting in the processes to meet product specification and plant benchmarks.
12. To study and conceptualize equipment or process changes that may improve plant performance, as well as to monitor and review the effectiveness of implemented changes and further reiterate the approach based on achieved results.
13. To participate in plant trial runs or experiments to improve process, product quality, efficiency and productivity.
14. To establish work instructions and perform HIRARC study as per requirement.
15. The scope of authority shall refer to the relevant Top Glove work process procedures/instructions.

What are we looking for:

1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree or Master's Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Process, Polymer, Petroleum) or equivalent.
2. Minimum 2 years of working experience in shift or manufacturing environment.
3. Relevant working experience in polymer synthesis and petrochemical synthesis plant would be advantageous.
4. Good command of English & Bahasa (spoken and written).
5. Good knowledge of plant operating equipment (technical).
6. Pleasant personality and able to interact all levels of people.
7. Able to work in Banting, Selangor.
