RESPONSIBILITIES

• To prepare and issue purchase orders, track orders and ensure timely delivery;
• Checking and analyzing invoices vs budgeting;
• Liaise with suppliers for delivery and orders which include local and overseas supplier;
• Responsible for price negotiation in line with company's purchasing cost saving objective;
• Participate in supplier monitoring program;
• Continuous improvement and cost cutting activities;
• Maintain proper records of purchases, quotation, suppliers' information and documentations;
• All other duties as requested by Management as and when required.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Candidate with a SPM, Diploma, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma in Marketing or equivalent is an added advantage;
• Knowledge and skills to handle import shipments (will be an added advantage);
• Proficient in MS Excel / Words;
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with suppliers;
• Resourceful, self-driven, proactive and team player who can also work independently;
• Able to work well under stress in a fast-paced environment;
• Friendly, approachable, presentable and well-groomed, a team player with high degree of honesty and integrity;
• Competencies in writing and communicating in English, Bahasa Malaysia and other languages would be an added advantage;
• Candidate must be willing to work during weekends and public holidays to support the operational needs as and when required;
• Applicants must be willing to work at SUNWAY LOST WORLD WATER PARK, SUNWAY CITY, IPOH, PERAK
