JOB SCOPE
Supporting the procurement team in various tasks related to purchasing goods and services for the organization and contribute to the efficient functioning of the procurement department while gaining valuable experience and insights into procurement processes and operations.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITY
1. Procurement Process
- Assist in the procurement process, including researching potential suppliers, obtaining quotes, and negotiating terms and pricing.
- Support the Procurement Manager in vendor relationship management, in-cluding communication, performance evaluation, and resolution of issues
2. Contract Management
- Help maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier information.
- Support the procurement team in vendor communication, including inquiries, follow-ups, and issue resolution.
3. Cost Savings
- Assist with the analysis of procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
4. Purchase Order
- Review purchase requisitions and verify the accuracy of information such as item descriptions, quantities, and delivery requirements.
- Generate purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures, ensuring completeness and accuracy of information.
- Coordinate with internal departments to obtain necessary approvals for purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies or issues as needed.
- Communicate with suppliers to confirm order details, negotiate pricing and terms, and obtain order acknowledgments.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related fields.
- Proficient in English
- Possess good communication skill.
- Possess good negotiation & management skill.
- Able to work independently and as a team.
