Penerangan Pekerjaan - Procurement Manager/Assistant Manager (Food & Beverage)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Procurement:
    Develop and execute procurement strategies that drive cost savings, efficiency, and long-term value for the organization.

  • Supplier Management:
    Identify, assess, and engage reliable suppliers while maintaining high standards of quality, cost-effectiveness, and service.

  • Contract & Negotiation:
    Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable pricing, terms, and conditions that align with business goals.

  • Inventory & Planning Coordination:
    Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely procurement planning and stock availability.

  • Compliance & Ethical Sourcing:
    Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies, industry standards, and ethical sourcing practices.

  • Vendor Performance & Risk Management:
    Manage supplier relationships through regular evaluations and risk assessments to maintain performance and mitigate disruptions.

  • Data-Driven Optimization:
    Analyze purchasing data to uncover cost-reduction opportunities and recommend process improvements.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Work closely with finance and operations teams to align procurement decisions with overall business objectives.

  • Reporting & Insights:
    Generate procurement reports for Finance Manager and CFO, highlighting key trends, savings, and strategic recommendations.

  • Inventory Tracking:
    Accurately record incoming goods into the POS system to ensure precise inventory management.

  • Process Improvement:
    Contribute to the development and refinement of procurement SOPs, enhancing workflows and vendor governance.


Requirements

  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.

  • Experience:
    Minimum of 5 years' experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, with a proven track record in inventory planning and sourcing.

  • Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong negotiation and contract management capabilities

    • Proficient in ERP and procurement systems (e.g., Dynamics 365, POS platforms)

    • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

    • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently without team support

    • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities

  • Industry Knowledge:
    Familiarity with the alcoholic beverage and liquor industry, including sourcing practices, pricing dynamics, and regulatory requirements.

  • Professional Presence:
    Ability to represent the company professionally in supplier meetings and networking events, building strong, long-term vendor relationships.

  • Mobility:
    Must possess own transport to support flexible travel for supplier visits, market research, and logistics coordination.
