Procurement Senior Executive / Manager - Generous Compensation

Job Responsibilities:

1. Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase materials from both local and oversea vendors.
2. Evaluate vendor’s quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the project.
3. Resolve supply, quality, and service issue with vendors.
4. Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation.
5. Ensure effective lines of communication to ensure timely delivery of commodities using the most appropriate procurement procedure.
6. Be responsibility for introducing process improvements in the supply chain and identify new vendors /suppliers without jeopardizing quality and service delivery.
7. Establish and implement a monitoring system that ensures that the prices paid for commodities are in line with local market price.
8. Develop and manage the rosters of suppliers, elaborate supplier selection and evaluation, quality, and performance measurement mechanisms.
9. Exercises appropriate judgement and tact while ensuring to protect confidential information.
10. Manage vendor’s contract and maintain relationship with suppliers to ensure completeness of deliverables outline in the contract this includes insuring that all vendors’ complaints and concerns are addressed promptly to ensure that the project continues to receive uninterrupted services at all time.

Requirement:

• Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor Degree, Diploma or any relevant studied.
• Able to communicate in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese Suplier
• Minimum 3 years working experience in Purchasing Department / Engineering background or any related department.
• Prefer senior level candidates, however junior are welcomed to apply if you met any requirements above.
