Penerangan Pekerjaan - Procurement Vendor Master Data Analyst

Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)

About the Role
In line with the policies/procedures and under instructions/controls of a more senior procurement specialist, to provide/improve and communicate procurement activities/services with small to medium levels of complexity within agreed service levels and shortest delays so as to satisfy customers requirements

What to expect:

  • Perform vendors master data management in an accurate and timely manner

  • Ensuring accuracy of information and compliance to requirement of vendor's data

  • Participate in projects within own area by executing parts of projects. May at some point manage small projects.

  • Deal with vendors on a daily basis.

  • Prepare standard reports/presentations and statistical analyses

  • Increase knowledge and experience of purchasing techniques and of vendors/products/services.

What will make you successful:

  • A 3-year degree, a recognised buyer certification or a university degree

  • For a 3-year degree, at least 3-5 years of experience and for university degrees at least 2 year of experience in procurement or related area (with customer interaction and exposure).

  • Vendor Master Data Management

  • Strong system and analytical skills 

  • Critical thinking and evaluation skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, creative problem solver and resourceful

  • Affinity with compliance and risk management is a plus

  • Procurement and Vendor management experience is a plus
