Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Product Sales Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for our eye care products, responsible for driving sales, building relationships with clients, and achieving assigned sales targets. You will leverage your technical knowledge and strong communication skills to identify new business opportunities, present product solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate new leads and develop existing accounts to expand market share and strengthen TOPCON’s position in the eye care industry.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and turn them into brand advocates.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals, securing the most favorable terms for TOPCON.
  • Plan and execute effective sales calls, presentations, and product demonstrations.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and other sales documents to support the sales cycle.
  • Gather market intelligence and provide feedback to management to inform business strategies.
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Manage credit collection and ensure smooth product delivery to clients.
  • Prepare and submit timely reports, including weekly reports, sales potential lists, and visit plans.
  • Participate in internal training sessions, webinars, and online courses.
  • Assist with trade shows and company events.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve company and sales goals.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Applied Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, Optometry/Opticianry, or IT (preferred).
  • Experience in the eye care industry is a plus.
  • Strong computer literacy and proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in local dialects.
  • Passion for sales and marketing with a strong drive to succeed.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, problem-solving, and customer-oriented with a team player mentality.
  • Valid driver's license (including GDL preferred).
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
