Production Inventory Executive - Exciting Challenge

1. To identify any discrepancies between daily production and shipment numbers, you will:

- Collect the production and shipment records for a specific period.

- Compare the production and shipment numbers daily.

2. To manage the large number of pallets and boxes, you will:

- Encourage employees to remember the product name and colour for better identification.

- Implement a transparent labelling system for better tracking and organization.

3. To address the discrepancy between the quantity on-site and the quantity in the system, you will:

- Cross-check the on-site inventory with the system records.

- Report any discrepancies to the supervisor and look into the reason.

- Work on rectifying the issue and ensuring accurate records in the future.

4. Implementing 5S at the manufacturing site:

- Educate employees about the 5S principles, which include sorting, setting in order, shining, standardizing, and sustainability.

- Work together to organize the workspace, eliminate clutter, and establish standard operating procedures.

5. Instructions for storing the varieties produced each day:

- Provide clear guidelines for where to store each daily variety, taking into account factors such as product type, shelf life, and available space.

- Ensure that employees follow these guidelines to maintain an organized inventory.

6. Implementing GPS (the company's control system) in inventory storage and production:

- Investigate the benefits of the GPS system that Sanko Japan introduced.

- Present the findings to the management team and recommend implementing a similar system to enhance inventory management.

7. Carrying out instructions from superiors and reporting details promptly:

- Please make sure that you promptly follow all instructions from superiors.

- Provide detailed reports on the tasks completed and any relevant findings.

Requirements:

- A diploma or bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

- Warehouse experience is an added advantage.

- Good communication skills.

- Be proactive about new ways of doing things.

- English skills are essential.
