Production Manager

About the Company

Our client is a reputable manufacturer of precision components and modules in high-mix low-volume, with specialization in very complex machining, high surface finishing and product cleanliness. They are an established supplier for many major global players in the Optical, Semicon, Diagnostics, Medical, and Life Science industries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the day-to-day operations of a high precision factory
  
• Focus on milling (CNC), turning (CNC), EDM and grinding processes
• Plan and organize manpower and work schedule to ensure production output and on-time delivery targets are achieved
• Focus on productivity improvements and lean manufacturing
• Lead the factory to a higher level, in terms of technology and precision
• Ensure the safety and health measures are implemented

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum degree in mechanical engineering, or related field
• Minimum 8 years of working experience in machining industry of which at least 3 years in a managerial role
• Strong knowledge of production management and continuous improvement methods eg 5S, Lean Manufacturing

REMUNERATION

Up to MYR 13,000
