We are looking to hire a reliable Production Manager to join our fast-paced team at KLK Refineries in Teluk Panglima Garang, Selangor.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To coordinate with planning on production scheduling to meet shipment date.
To prepare weekly production scheduling. To plan with the Production Engineer for day-to-day production.
To liaise with planning for raw materials requirements.
To maximize plant utilization and meet production targets.
To optimize the processes and meet targeted product specifications.
Consistently review storage movement and optimize tank usage.
Liaise with Logistics and Planning for timely raw materials receiving and final product delivery.
Maximize manpower utilization via coaching, training and counselling.
To comply with governmental and local regulations/requirements.
To comply with all quality standards and requirements set by the Company, as well as meet the product specifications required by the customers.
To assist the Plant Manager in preparing the annual budget for production operations.
To perform any task assigned by management when the need arises.

JOB SUCCESS REQUIREMENTS

Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering / Chemistry or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years of working experience in refineries/ oleochemical/chemical industry.
Possess strong analytical skills in planning (raw material, in-process & final product).
Sensitive to dynamic change in day-to-day operation.
Experience in the SAP system is an added advantage.
