Production Planner cum QC - Start Now

Job Responsibilities:

• Planning and preparing production schedules according to job priorities, product specifications, and delivery requirements.
• Collaborating with sales, operations, and procurement teams to synchronize production plans with demand forecasts and inventory levels.
• Monitoring and adjusting production schedules to fulfill customer demands, meet inventory targets, and enhance production efficiency.
• Analyzing and managing inventory levels to maintain optimal stock while minimizing excess.
• Coordinating with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
• Conducting incoming, in-process, and outgoing QC inspections to ensure that materials and products comply with quality specifications and standards.
• Managing rejected or reworked products by analyzing root causes and coordinating corrective actions.
• Communicating with production team members to address and resolve quality issues.
• Conducting regular assessments of production processes to boost efficiency.
• Implementing quality control processes throughout the production cycle to prevent defects and guarantee continuous product quality.
• Providing timely reports on production progress, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
• Performing all other duties as assigned by the company.

Knowledge, Abilities & Skills Required:

• Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Quality Management, or a related field. 
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in production planning and quality control within a manufacturing environment. 
• Proficiency in production planning software or ERP system and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude, self-motivated, well-organised and responsible.
• Ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
