Short Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Intermediate Planner to join our team. The Planner will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient production process by coordinating with various departments, monitoring production schedules, and managing inventory levels. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

The impact you’ll make

Plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors final approval of products through the complete production cycle. Works from engineering plans and production specifications to establish production schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements. Coordinates production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules. Master Scheduler: Provides input to management; schedules and/or interfaces with marketing, sales, production and engineering managers. Works to resolve (in case of design changes) labor and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions. Oversees the master schedules and ensures comprehensive compliance with materials requirements for manufacturing.

What you’ll do

Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure manufacturing and warehouse loading are on time and closely monitor material availability.


2. Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics departments to ensure a smooth workflow.


3. Monitor the production process to minimize delays and ensure deadlines are met.


4. Analyze production specifications data to maximize production output.


5. Review and adjust schedules as needed due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions.


6. Maintain and manage inventory levels, ensuring the availability of necessary materials for production.


7. Create and submit status and performance reports, collating and interpreting data on the production plan’s progress.


8. Collaborate with quality control, warehouse, and other staff to ensure high standards are maintained.

Who we’re looking for

Preferred Skill

1. Experience with ERP systems.


2. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.


3. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.


4. Ability to lead and mentor junior planners.

Preferred qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.


2. 3-5 years of experience in production planning or a similar role.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
