Client Information

We are representing a Malaysian engineering solutions provider, with over two decades of experience. The company specialises in supplying industrial valves, actuators, gear motors, and steam-related products. Their offerings cater to various industries, including palm oil, petrochemical, water and wastewater, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, and food processing.

Job Description

• Select valves and accessories based on customer inquiries or tender specifications in collaboration with the Sales team.
• Calculate equipment pricing and advise Sales Engineers/Managers on pricing strategy and gross margin targets.
• Respond to customer inquiries related to technical and commercial aspects of submitted quotations.
• Manage order processing, including compiling purchase orders with supporting documents and price breakdowns.
• Maintain and update technical documentation and pricing lists.
• Ensure all projects are delivered on time, and within scope.
• Coordinate with supplies and procurement teams to ensure timely project execution.
• Create and maintain accurate and organised project documentation.
• Assist in preparing price lists.
• Carry out additional tasks assigned by the immediate superior, aligned with company requirements.

Job Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical , Instrumentation, or related fields)
• Minimum 2 years' experience in the valves industry or related technical field
• Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications and a passion for techno-commercial roles may also be considered.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Excellent communication and customer interaction skills.
