Job Title: EPCC Project Control Manager
Location: 50% in Pengerang & 50% in Petaling Jaya HQ
Reports To: Project Director / Senior Project Manager
Job Overview: The EPCC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning) Project Control Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the planning, scheduling, cost management, and progress measurement activities of EPCC projects. This role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. The Project Control Manager will work closely with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement control measures.
Look Ahead Projections: Utilize predictive analytics and scenario planning to anticipate future project needs and challenges. Implement advanced scheduling techniques to forecast resource requirements and optimize project timelines. Continuously monitor industry trends and technological advancements to enhance project efficiency and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation.
- Ensure that project schedules are integrated and aligned with overall project plans.
- Monitor and update schedules regularly to reflect project progress and changes.
- Cost Management:
- Establish and maintain project budgets and cost control systems.
- Track and report on project costs, ensuring that expenditures are within approved budgets.
- Identify cost variances and implement corrective actions to mitigate cost overruns.
- Progress Measurement and Reporting:
- Implement progress measurement systems to track project performance.
- Prepare regular progress reports, including earned value analysis and key performance indicators.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and assess project risks, developing risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitor risk factors and implement contingency plans as necessary.
- Ensure that potential risks are communicated and addressed proactively.
- Resource Management:
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure adequate resources are allocated to project tasks.
- Monitor resource utilization and adjust allocations as needed to meet project demands.
- Quality and Compliance:
- Ensure that project control processes comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of project control documentation and practices.
- Stakeholder Coordination:
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
- Facilitate meetings and communications to resolve project control issues and ensure smooth project execution.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for improving project control processes and tools.
- Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project control within the EPCC industry.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 & Microsoft Project.
- Strong knowledge of cost control, scheduling, and progress measurement techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Certification in Project Management (PMP, PMI-SP, or equivalent) is preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: RM14,000.00 - RM16,000.00 per month
