Job Summary
Reports to the Chief Business Officer, Equity Broking, provide assistance and support required by Digital Strategy Equity Broking team in terms of digital project management and research in order to meet the unit’s objective in creating new digital products to meet global customer needs via digital solutions. The role also includes gathering business requirements of process / functional or statutory reporting or enhancement to systems into proper documentation and presentation to Senior Management / Board.
Job Description
1) Digital Project Support
- Support project manager & assist in coordination for each new digital project (project basis) which includes a support role in the following activities:
i) Regulatory & approvals, including coordinating with compliance/risk management department to ensure new digital business / initiatives complies with regulators, as well as completing and submitting the regulatory applications
ii) Legal agreements, including negotiations and refinement of agreements between parties involved
iii) Financials, including sensitivity and scenario analysis
iv) Other coordination / management includes Marketing, Customer Relationship Management, as well as Operations & IT
2) Digital Initiatives Feasibility Studies
- Assist in generating financial feasibility studies and recommendations for newly identified digital projects which entails the following; SWOT / peer comparison analysis, market studies and financial projections
3) Support Technology & Innovation Development of Digital Initiatives
- Participate and assist the exploration of business with new technologies and innovative processes
- Assist in analyzing and understanding business needs, developing clear and accurate specifications to ensure systems fully meet business requirements
- Assist in developing clear requirement specifications, ensuring all business and systems needs are identified clearly and unambiguously, with detailed consideration for all project and technical dependencies and risks
- Support documentation to reflect business processes, user and data requirements and business benefits
- Support preparation of presentation slides for new business model, initiatives and strategies
4) Rules & Regulations
- Support in ensuring corporate and regulatory compliance in all technology, processes, execution and cybersecurity requirements.
- Assist in developing clear scope of requirement documentation (BRD) with process for reviewed and signoff by stakeholders
Requirements
1) Bachelor’s degree in economics / business / accounting / finance / banking / statistics or any other related fields
2) Excellent proficiency in MS Office applications
Great command of the English (written and spoken)
3) Strong documentation & presentation skills
Possess excellent financial analysis & data science skills
4) Proficiency in project management tools i.e. Jira / Notion
5) 3 – 5 years of experience as Business Analyst and / or in Project Management
