Main Responsibilities 

PROJECT COST ESTIMATE

TENDER PREPARATION & SUBMISSION

• Study and review the technical information and details about job execution to understand the cost element
• Prepare and fill in the commercial proposal template for tender submission
• Discuss and provide profitability analysis for the tender and risk involved based on internal input from operation/technical personnel
•  
• Prepare cost proposals for OIL & GAS OFFSHORE  Maintenance of Structures  contract(s).
• Experienced in the use of Microsoft Excel with detailed knowledge
• Ensure costs from bid summary are properly translated into cost proposal worksheet as budgets. Ensure the budgets are explained to the contract holders.
• Create and update cost & revenue forecast.
• Maintain and update budget figures on Microsoft Sharepoint 
• Coordinate with project managers and finance for contract performance reporting and cost control purposes
• Ensure budgets are controlled before committing to any expenditure.
•  Assist project managers to make decisions by providing accurate cost/profitability assessments of each available option. Highlight area concern / potential cost impacts for the project
• Identify risk and opportunity area
• Revise and update project financial reports and have control of all financial movements within the scope of the project. (commitment, expenditure, estimate to complete)
• Collaborate with Project Manager (PM), procurement and related department to develop and maintain the project cost forecast on an ongoing basis bringing to the PM attention any deviation and/or variation to the budget.
• Review cost codes on requisition raised.
• Participate and contribute to procurement commercial evaluation process.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or any related fields with 3 – 5 years working experience
• Basic knowledge of the oil & gas industry, especially in services related business segments
• Fundamental understanding of the concept, principle, and practice in the oil and gas rules/ regulation and conventions
• 5 years Experience in Oil & Gas Maintenance and or Construction  with project cost control processes .
• Detailed understanding and Competence  in Microsoft Excel
