Project cum Building Facility Manager (School)
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resources, and budget for new or existing preschool.
- Oversee and direct construction projects from conceptual to completion. Including planning on pre-construction stage including liaison with consultant, check building plan drawings from consultant and follow up with relevant authority.
- Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions including liaise closely with consultant and contractor to monitor the progress and compliance based on the work planning and ensure compliance.
- Plan, implement and evaluate budget for operational and capital expenditure of facility section
- Manage all maintenance & facilities related activities.
- Accountable for building maintenance, infrastructure & ensure all equipment are in a safe condition.
- Plan, implement, evaluate preventive maintenance program to ensure facility equipment (Air-conditioning, Air Compressor, Passenger Lift, Electric Hoist, Fire-Fighting System, Water Pump system, PABX system, Lightning Protection system), Waste Disposal, Building Maintenance etc are properly maintained, meet service quality and effectiveness
- Assist in all authorities related liaison to meet requirement, achieve the targeted deadlines and renewal all compliance certificates on time etc.
- Supervise facilities staff and communicate with external contractors and vendors
Job Qualifications :
- Minimum Degree in Civil Engineering or any relevant field.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience as Project Manager/Leader position in project/facility or relevant field.
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent analytical and construction/building facilities management skills, self-motivated, and capable of leading a project team.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, verbal and written communication skills.
- Well versed with the local authority requirement.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project.
- Willing to travel due to project needs.
