Project Engineer - Civil Infrastructure/Construction (PENANG)

**Malay Citizen - Aiport/Airbase Clearance Required**

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Civil Project Engineer to assist in delivering civil and infrastructure works at Butterworth Airbase.

This role requires security clearance to work on a sensitive military Airbase and must have the required work rights.

Employed by an international civil engineering and infrastructure contractor, you will be part of a multicultural, cohesive team caring for each other's safety while delivering the work on time and within budget.

To be considered for the role, you can demonstrate the following:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable University
• 7+ years of local experience delivering civil infrastructure projects with a reputable contractor
• Airport or Airbase Civil Engineering experience is highly regarded but optional.
• Considerable experience working for a local tier one or tier two civil engineering infrastructure/construction company (on-site delivery works)
• Considerable experience in civil engineering projects such as earthworks, conduits, pavements, installing services
• Local Malay with work pass rights.
• Conduct HSE checks
• Make sure all QA checks are complete.
• Make sure all documentation and reports are complete and to a high standard.
• Assist the project manager with the planning and programming of work.
• Site Supervision
• Eligibility for a security clearance check
• Police and criminal record check
• Ability to commute or relocate to Penang / Georgetown / Butterworth if not already residing locally
• Strong experience using Excel, MS Project and other related software(s)
• Contracts Management
