Project Engineer – Lift Industry

As a Project Engineer, you will be the key technical resource for our team, responsible to support Head of Department in execution of the project by providing technical expertise and demonstrating leadership skill to monitor / supervise our main contractor & sub-contractor to achieve work quality target to deliver our products and services to prospects and customers. You will understand customer needs and tailor solutions to meet those needs, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the project cycle.

What will you be doing?

• Monitor sub-contractor progress.
• Ensure sub-contractor / workers adhere to site safety procedures.
• Issue notification of non-compliance / request of correction action.
• Liaison with contractors and subcontractors regarding site matter.
• Close liaison with various party ie: owner, consultant, architect etc on project assigned for approval or queries.
• Attend various meetings such as Project meeting, Site meeting etc.
• Preparation of monthly progress claim, follow up with payment certificate and finally payment collection.
• Preparation of JKKP handover inspection.
• Joint site inspection with sub-con, T & C department, JKKP and JQA with maintenance department.
• Weekly site progress or defect report to Head of Department and highlight and significant issues for necessary action.

Job Requirement

• Posses at least a Bachelor Degree in Engineering specialised in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic.
• Fluent in Mandarin preferred as role requires you to deal with mandarin speaking customers.
• Possess own vehicle (car), a willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours.

2. Johor Bharu (Taman Johor Jaya)
