Project Engineers & Senior Engineers (Developer / Contractor)

A Project Engineer / Senior Engineer in the property development / contractor field plays a vital role in managing and coordinating construction and development activities to ensure timely delivery of high -quality projects. This position is ideal for candidates with 2–3 years of experience who possess strong technical, communication, and problem -solving skills. The Project Engineer will work closely with consultants, contractors, developers, and internal teams to ensure projects are executed efficiently, adhering to budgets, schedules, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Coordination
   • Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets to align with organizational goals.
   • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of projects.
   • Monitor the progress of on -site construction activities and ensure they align with approved plans and timelines.
2. Site Supervision and Quality Control
   • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure construction works comply with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
   • Identify and address construction issues, proposing corrective actions as necessary.
   • Verify that materials and workmanship meet project requirements.
3. Contractor and Consultant Management
   • Liaise with contractors and consultants to resolve technical and logistical challenges.
   • Ensure contractors adhere to agreed project schedules and deliverables.
   • Review and evaluate contractor claims and variations to ensure fair and accurate assessments.
4. Documentation and Reporting
   • Prepare progress reports, site inspection records, and other necessary documentation.
   • Maintain up -to -date project records, including drawings, specifications, and approvals.
   • Provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders on project status and risks.
5. Regulatory Compliance and Approvals
   • Ensure all construction activities adhere to local building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
   • Assist in obtaining necessary permits and approvals from relevant authorities.
6. Budget and Cost Monitoring
   • Track project costs and assist in managing budgets to prevent cost overruns.
   • Support the value engineering process to optimize costs without compromising quality.
7. Risk Management and Problem -Solving
   • Identify potential risks or delays during the project lifecycle and develop mitigation strategies.
   • Troubleshoot on -site issues to minimize disruptions and maintain progress.
8. Sustainability and Innovation
   • Promote sustainable construction practices and explore innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency.
