Project Manager - Generous Compensation

• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion
• Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
• Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
• Meet contractual conditions of performance
• Review the work progress on daily basis and to ensure that all work carried out on their projects are handled in accordance with the relative work instructions and project requirements.
• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
• Analyse, manage and mitigate risks
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction technique
• To manage, lead and plan for site team and provide necessary assistance in construction works.
• To study drawings in order to perform works as per project specifications.
• To provide guidance and work instructions to Supervisor or Sub-contractor in daily activities.
• To carry out various inspections and tests at project site from time to time.
• To coordinate with the Contracts and Purchasing department in acquisition of machineries and materials required for project use.
• To carry out resources planning for the project included and not limited to material, manpower and machinery procurement schedule.
• To attend Site Meeting and to handle all complaints from clients.
• To liaise with customer and coordinate with Contracts Administrator in preparation and submission of proposals, quotations or tenders and co-ordinate with sub-contractors.
• To coordinate any quality issues and problems at the project site, and carry out any rectifications works, if any.
• To ensure timely completion of every section of works within allowable cost.
• To manage sub-contractors direct workers and hire machinery and equipment to optimize labour efficiency.
• To control material wastage by workers or sub-contractors.
• To upkeep the site house keeping to a clean and tidy manner.
• To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the quality system.
• To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.
• Strictly comply safety regulation and requirement stated in JKKP ( Safety & Help)

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, quantity survey or related field
• Proven working experience in construction management
• Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
• Understanding of all facets of the construction process
• Ability to plan and see the “big picture”
• Competent in conflict and crisis management
• Leadership and human resources management skills
• Excellent time and project management skills
• Willing to travel due to project needs
