Project Manager (Transmission Products and Services) - Fast Hire

Working with the Local, Regional and Global teams and different Business Partners, the Project Manager must be able to ensure that projects are executed according to the standards stipulated within Project Excellence and be able to manage, guide and support projects locally and within the region.

Your profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering 
• Should possess minimal 7 years of working experience within the areas of Transmission Service (GIS, AIS, TX, CBs etc)
• Has experience & knowledge of Transmission Products and Services 
• Previous experience as site / field service technical supervisor would also be considered. Comfortable handling commercial-related topics.
• Able to exhibit a keen eye for detail with regards to Contract management.
• Able to communicate well within the local, regional, and global team. 
• Understands cultural differences and copes with them effectively.
• Ability to improvise and willingness to experience unpredictable situations.
• Positive attitude to work in challenging environment and in embracing high performance culture. 
• Strong competence in using IT Tools including Microsoft, SAP, Salesforce etc
• Professional English required, where additional Asian languages will be a benefit.
• Must be effectively mobile both locally and regionally.
• PMP or IPMA Certification is a plus.
• Relevant training in PM including certification by a professional body.

Your responsibilities

• As part of a cross-functional team, clarifies customers´ targets and requirements, and/or specification. 
• Participates in tender discussions and represents the project in the relevant discussions; both internally & externally
• Coordinates overall planning of the project and decides on allocation of resources.
• Develops project strategies aligned with the Business Unit and responsible stakeholders.
• Monitor’s milestone and adherence to budgets, and initiates actions to minimize non-conformance cost. 
• Maintains constant communication to customers, outside contractors or other stakeholders.
• Participates in senior level engagement with customers and partners 
• Adheres to Project Management, Business Conduct Guidelines & HSE standards.
• Manages and coordinates all temporarily assigned project staff.
• The Project Manager leads and drives the implementation of cross function teams including:
  • Solving any issues that may come up and implementing risk mitigation plans etc.
  • Implementing Lessons Learned feedback after completion of every project 
  • Generating Up-Sales & Variation Orders on existing projects
  • Managing FS Suppliers & Sub Contractors etc during project execution
  • Reviewing and implementing cost reduction / improvement measures
  • Risk & Claim management internally and towards the customer
  • Conducts stakeholder analysis and manages efficient communication with all relevant Stakeholders
