JOB DESCRIPTION
- To handle on the overall project implementation, site construction (interior fit-out) and renovation project assigned.
- Must be familiar with ID Fit-Out Works
- To plan, direct and control project during the execution phase in accordance to contract terms and project site requirements
- Responsible to monitor sub-contractors’ works on site- work sequence, method of construction, and quality control.
- Proven ability to cope with conflict stress and crisis situation
- Excellent, proven interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- To drive and implement Project Management Strategies to achieve effective time, cost, quality and environmental management.
- To monitor and control guidelines, best practices, SOPs and related legislations to ensure compliance with the company standards and its effectiveness.
- To ensure compliance to Quality and Environmental Management systems at respective project sites.
- To monitor and advise contractors as well as consultants’ work progress to ensure effective time, cost, quality and environmental management outcome.
- Documenting and co-coordinating process towards continuous improvement in project management activities and processes
- Meticulous, confident, highly analytical with excellent problem solving skills and strong leadership to lead a team of site personnel.
- Good communication and negotiation skills and able handle Clients / consultants / sub-contractors effectively.
- Ensure project objective are achieved and projects are delivered successfully in accordance with agreed scope, timeframe, budget, quality and safety standards.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Degree/Diploma in Architecture, Interior Design and Project Management.
- Preferably at least 9-10 years’ experience in project coordination / Management of medium to large scale corporate interior fit-out, and possess own transport.
- Strong written and oral communication skills; Able to multi task.
- Experience in dealing with Clients, sub-contractors, suppliers, local Authorities and able to chair site meetings.
- Excellent project & people management skills
- Possess good leadership, strong analytical and organizational skills with ability to plan and work independently.
- Must be able to manage ad-hoc unforeseen issues during project managing and finding solutions without compromising to schedule and quality.
- Ability to communicate in English, Malay & Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Highly self motivated, good working attitude with high level of professionalism and integrity
- With knowledge in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and AutoCad
- Malaysia citizen only
