An exciting and dynamic coordinator role in both construction and building management located in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah with an innovative medium-sized developer with an existing track record in Kota Kinabalu area with a focus on sustainability and green construction.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in the project management of the company’s ongoing projects
- Project site visits as-and-when required at the discretion of the Project Manager to assist in management of projects
- Assist the Project Manager in organizing and coordinating meetings, conferences and events as and when required
- Assist in managing the welfare and well-being of work personnel
- Ensure smooth incoming and outgoing communications between management and external parties (i.e tenants, authorities, consultants, site staff)
- Assist the Building Manager in managing and maintaining day-to-day operations of the office building located in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah
- Assist in managing the company’s properties
- Documentation control of files such as minutes of meeting, plans, invoices, and any other supporting documents
Job Requirements
- Any level of experience – at the discretion of employer to evaluate, on-the-job training provided
- Fluent in English and Malay (spoken and written); fluency in Mandarin and/or Hakka is an added advantange
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams etc.); proficiency in other programmes such as AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project is favourable
- Possess a valid driving license and own transport
- Good communication skills for both internal and external parties – able to work in teams and communicate across all levels is of utmost importance
- Adaptable and a cool temperament are recommended traits for this role
- Willingness to learn from others regardless of position within company – continuous improvement
- Ability to take responsibility and remain accountable for task outcomes
