You will play an important role in :
- Plan and supervise any property development, renovation, installation and facility improvement in the Company
- Conduct building inspections to identify the need for repairs or renovations
- Maintain facilities to avoid unnecessary interruptions to the business
- Plan and manage centralised facilities such as reception, security, cleaning, cafeteria, waste disposal, security and parking.
- Prepare, verify, negotiate contract/agreement terms and conditions on behalf of the Company
- Maintain and monitor the Contract Register of the Department and propose recommended plans for expiring contracts to the Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors and suppliers
- Act as liaison between the Company and Government authorities to ensure timely renewal of business documentations such as business licenses and certificate of fitness.
- Manage and coordinate Scheduled Waste Management System and Waste Water Management System in accordance to the guideline and enforcement by the Department of Environment (DOE)
- Review and enforce the security of the buildings, premises and facilities
- Monitor the functionality of the security systems for the Company including but not limited to fire safety system, CCTV system and alarm system
- Prepare, monitor and review budget and make appropriate recommendations on cost control measures
- Champion the Company’s sustainability goals by identifying and implementing initiatives to reduce energy/water/carbon consumption/production, manage waste and promote sustainable practices within the Company
- To perform any ad-hoc projects assigned by the Management from time to time
To be successful in this role, you will need to have :
- Property, Technical or Engineering Degree/Diploma or relevant trade experience in Property and Facilities Management.
- Minimum 5 years working experience from related field.
- Well versed in local laws & regulations governing property maintenance, building management, statutory compliance, certification and business licences.
- Competency in MS Office and relevant databases and software
- Interpersonal savvy with strong communication and presentation skills
- Possesses strong service ethic, pro-active, can-do attitude and problem-solving skills.
- Well organized with excellent time management skills
