PSYCHOLOGY LECTURER - Program Lead

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and deliver teaching courses in the prescribed fields within the school.
• Prepare learning material for use by the school.
• Participate in the recruitment, training, management and evaluation of part-time tutors and part-time lecturers;
• Engage with external examiners, course writers and course assessors.
• Responsible for examination including the preparation and marking of examination papers; and monitoring of assessment procedures;
• Liaise with the registry department in the preparation of examination papers and marking of examination papers;
• Participate in the development of course material;
• Advise students and deal with queries regarding their studies;
• Liaise with the librarian in recommending resource materials for the delivery of teaching;
• Participate actively in student induction programmes, tutorial observation, open days and any other promotional and marketing-related activities, wherever required;
• Undertake such other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time by the Head of School or the duly designated Programme Lead.

Requirements:

• The applicant must possess at least a Master/PhD in Psychology with Bachelor of Psychology background/equivalent to a Psychology Degree from a recognized university.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with industrial experience (with Master's/PhD) are welcome to apply
• Minimum experience 2 -years lecturing/supervision in Higher Education
• Ability to work in a Team
• Excellent presentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with high oral and written competency in English
• The applicant should be a proactive learner who is professional and must have good teamwork and communication skills
• Proficiency in Mandarin would be an added advantage
