Position Overview: As a Senior Publicist, you will play a key role in developing and executing strategic communication initiatives to enhance Company’ brand image and reputation. Reporting to respective Managers, you will be responsible for managing media relations, creating compelling content, and implementing strategic PR campaigns.
Develop and Implement Strategic PR Campaigns for a Diverse Range of Clients.
- Research and analyse industry trends and media coverage to inform the development of strategic PR campaigns.
- Develop comprehensive PR plans that align with client objectives and target audiences.
- Implement PR campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, broadcast and social media.
- Monitor campaign progress, make necessary adjustments, and provide regular updates to clients.
Media Relationship Management
- Establish and nurture relationships with editors, journalists, content creators, influencers, and other media professionals.
- Pitch story ideas and secure coverage in print, broadcast, and online media outlets.
- Respond to media inquiries and arrange interviews with clients.
Events Management and Coordination
- Plan and coordinate events such as media events, press conferences, interviews, media briefings and product launches.
- Manage logistics, including venue selection, media invitation and follow-ups.
Advertising Program Evaluation
- Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure advertising activities align with PR goals.
- Facilitate and coordinate media buy campaigns.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of these programs and recommend improvements.
Crisis Management
- Develop and implement crisis communication strategies to protect the client’s reputation.
- Respond swiftly to negative press or public backlash, coordinating statements and
- interviews to address the situation.
Media Training for Clients
- Prepare clients for media interviews and public speaking engagements.
- Provide guidance on message development, delivery techniques and handling difficult questions.
Content Creation
- Create compelling content for press releases, byline articles, briefing documents and
- interview and story pitches.
- Ensure all content aligns with the client’s brand voice and messaging.
Performance Reporting
- Track and analyse the performance of PR campaigns.
- Prepare and present reports detailing campaign results and media coverage to clients and internal teams.
Team Leadership
- Mentor and guide junior publicists and interns, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
- Oversee the work of the PR team to ensure tasks are completed on time and meet quality standards.
Job Requirement
We are hiring a senior-level PR executive with at least 1.5 - 2 years of PR agency experience to join our growing team. Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus!
