Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Purchaser to join our procurement team. The Assistant Purchaser will be responsible for assisting in the procurement of components and materials specifically related to vacuum cleaner production base on BOM. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in sourcing and purchasing components and materials required for vacuum cleaner production, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
  • Communicate with suppliers to obtain price quotes, negotiate terms, and place purchase orders.
  • Coordinate with internal departments such as production, engineering, and quality assurance to determine procurement needs and specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and supplier information.
  • Monitor inventory levels and reorder points for vacuum cleaner components to prevent stockouts and maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Conduct supplier performance evaluations and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality and reliability of components.
  • Assist in resolving any issues or discrepancies related to procurement, including delivery delays, quality issues, or pricing discrepancies.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Fresh graduate are encourage to apply. 
  • For education background below Diploma, minimum 2 years field work experience.
  • Proven experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the household appliance or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently, responsible, follow up closely and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
