Purchasing Assistant Manager - Dynamic Team

Responsibility:

• Review vendor quotations/prices and contact major suppliers for direct raw materials.
• Review purchase planning/consumption from Purchasing Executive from time to time.
• Review purchase planning/consumption from Assistant Purchasing Manager and Purchasing Executive from time to time.
• Prepare monthly material consumption report and analysis.
• Guide, Evaluate, and Monitoring all subordinates' job performance from time to time.
• Directly report job progress to Managing Director weekly or monthly.
• An advantage to the person who is familiar with LMW (License Manufacturing Warehouse)
• Set target for Purchasing Executive KPI.
• Familiar with importation process and liaise with MITI and MIDA for exemption application/license application. (If any)
• Advantage if familiar with ISO 9001:2015.
• Conduct internal training for new Purchasing Executive.
• Conduct monthly stock take and prepare reports.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least an Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce or equivalent.
• Preferably 3 to 5 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment or related field.
• Experience with the knowledge of purchase packaging materials.
• Candidates that are fluent in Mandarin are preferred, as the role requires a candidate to deal with a mandarin speaker client.
• Proficient in computer skills such as Excel, and QNE System.
• Required skill(s): Negotiation skill, Communication Skills, Calculation Skills.
• Possess own transport.
