Purchasing Assistant - Urgent Position

Task & Responsibilities :-

• Responsible for local & overseas purchase of good according to the planned delivery schedule.
• Sourcing and negotiating with new potential suppliers for competitive pricing and terms.
• Monitoring and updating current suppliers performance (in terms of quality, delivery and services).
• Follow up on supplier's delivery status and request catalogue for every purchase and monitor all import shipment process.
• Liaise with supplier for all matters (product detect, claims, complaint and delivery shortage)
• Co-ordinate closely for orders updates and plan for the shipment arrangements.
• Verify supplier invoice with packing list.
• Product information correction, perform costing & update price list.
• Stock Code creation and new stock arrival update (selling price & photo).
• Handling forwarder & transportation matter.
• Any other ad-hoc job that assigned by the HOD / Manager / Supervisor

Qualifications & Experiences:-

• At least Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies, Economics, Management, Transportation, Logistics, Commerce or equivalent.
• Must be able to communicate & write in English, Malay & Mandarin.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
