- Creating and processing purchase orders for goods and services required for construction projects
- Communicating with suppliers and vendors to obtain quotes and ensure timely deliveries
- Negotiating prices with suppliers to manage costs effectively
- To enquire and obtain quotation and procure construction materials/equipment/services requested by project or contract personnel.
- Responsible for Purchasing Requisition, Quotations Enquiries, issuance of Purchase Order and Invoicing.
- To review and seek new/potential suppliers or materials (Vendor Selection).
- Handle administrative tasks related to purchasing activities.
Job Requirements
- Candidates must possess at least SPM, STPM, Professional Certificate, Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1-2 years’ experience in construction purchasing department.
- Requires language(s): English, Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin will be an added advantage.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude with the ability to work independently.
