Purchasing Executive

JOB DESCRIPTION 

1. Responsible for managing the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and purchasing goods and services.
2. Prepare and process purchase orders and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and requirements.
4. Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation in compliance with company policies and regulation.
5. Provide support and assistance to other team members as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

1. Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field.
2. Experience 2 to 3 years in handling procurement processes, supplier management and negotiation skills. 
3. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis.
5. Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
6. Understanding of procurement processes and best practices.
7. Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards in procurement.
8. Familiarity with procurement software or Oracle systems is a plus. 
9. Required language: English, Malay. 
10. Location based in Bukit Minyak Industrial Park, Bukit Mertajam, Pulau Pinang.
