Purchasing Executive - Continuous Learning Opportunities

We are looking for Purchasing Executive to oversee purchasing activities and ensure that purchased items are both cost-efficient and of high quality. The Purchasing Executive's responsibilities include maintaining positive supplier relations, evaluating supply options, approving purchases, and maintaining accurate records.

To be successful as a Purchasing Executive you should have an analytical mind, able to negotiate well and ensure that all purchases comply with company standards.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparing purchase order, recording, filling and all aspects of the purchasing function.
• Sourcing, selecting and negotiating with suppliers or contractors to constantly strive for best pricing and maintaining the highest level of quality and service.
• Monitor, implement and update the procedure of purchasing as per the requirement of ISO 9001 and 14001.
• To carry out the status of the purchasing activities and coordinate with inter department and suppliers or contractor to ensure on time delivery.
• Work closely with suppliers on long term cost reduction programs, pricing and payment terms which are advantageous to the Company.
• Drive supplier management programs and continuously support the improvement of inventory control.
• Regular review of suppliers’ performance to drive improvements in quality, cost, delivery and services.

Who are we looking for?

• A candidate with at least a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Purchasing or Business Administration or equivalent.
• Mandarin speaker is preferred to communicate with supplier from China.
• Minimum 1 year and above of related working experience is required for this position.
• Good negotiation and excellent communication skills with knowledge of suppliers sourcing.
• Posses’ good problem solving, presentation and analytical skills.
• Able to work independently.
