Job Responsibilities:
- Research and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers
- To obtain quotation and purchase construction materials/equipment/services according to requirements of site purchase order
- Negotiating prices with suppliers to manage costs effectively
- Coordinate and monitor the purchasing of materials to ensure timely delivery
- Ensure all invoices are matched with the Purchase Order (PO) and Delivery Order (DO) and submitted to Finance Department within the stipulated timeline for payment arrangement
- Compile and prepare price comparison of construction materials
- To update site personnel any material shortage / time frame on delivery /manufacturer products processing time frame and etc. to avoid any cause of delay on delivery.
- To ensure site personnel to return all Delivery Order (DO) for matching and filling
- Assist on the ad-hoc matter which are assigned by Superior/Management from time to time
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate or Diploma in any field
- At least 2 years of working experience in construction field is required or equivalent for this position
- Good negotiation and interpersonal skills, responsible, committed, highly effective, dynamic and results-oriented
- Responsible and able to work independently under pressure
