Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the purchasing of all raw materials, packaging materials, services, and etc.
- Capable to source for alternative and potential suppliers.
- Plan raw material and packaging material purchase to ensure they meet production requirement and optimize stock level.
- Update Vendor-Manufacturer details in a timely manner.
- Arrange with vendor for return of non-conforming material.
- Feedback or complain to vendor for goods or services not conforming to purchasing requirements and request for corrective action from vendor (SCAR).
- Ensure goods received meet all price, quantity and quality requirement before recommending approval for payment.
- Generate updated material cost report periodically.
- Any ad-hoc projects being assigned from time to time.
Requirement:
- Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management or its equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years working experience in manufacturing or similar industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Fast learner and able to work under minimum supervision.
- Fluent in mandarin reading and speaking is a must for this position.
