Purchasing Executive - Generous Compensation

Job Responsibilities :

As a Procurement Executive, you will play a pivotal role in sourcing and negotiating for products and freight services. Your expertise will directly contribute towards achieving the lowest possible cost without compromising on quality, reliability, and urgency of need. 

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

1. Source & negotiate for products / freight services at lowest possible cost with consideration of quality, reliability of source and urgency of need. 
2. Ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards in all procurement activities.
3. Evaluating supplier performance regularly to maintain strong vendor relationships.
4. Tracking Purchase Orders (POs) and ensuring timely delivery of quality products.
5. Collaborating closely with stakeholders to meet service level requirements, inventory targets, and to reduce slow-moving and obsolete inventory.
6. Responding to customer complaints and service deviations related to missed deliveries and quality issues.
7. Working with our appointed Forwarder to ensure timely shipment arrivals.
8. Verify and check correctness of inwards logistic bills and custom duty code/rate
9. Monitoring and planning purchases based on available demand forecasts/historical consumption with set planning parameters.
10. Prepare shipment status report on weekly basis
11. Validating and submitting invoices for payment, cooperating with the Accounts team to ensure timely payment to Suppliers and forwarders.
12. Generating reports as required.

We are looking for someone with: 

1. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP System
2. SPM / Diploma / Degree or equivalents
3. Able to communicate with China suppliers
4. Able to travel to Singapore for training purposes
5. Strong work ethic and high resilience. 
6. Willingness to learn and a desire to continuously improve. 
7. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to react swiftly to challenges in a fast-paced environment. 
8. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
9.  Detail-orientation and excellent analytical abilities.
10.  Ability to deliver quality work within tight timelines.
