Responsibilities:
- Maintaining the Purchasing Department's filing system to meet company and legal requirements. Assures that documents are filed/housekeeping on a timely basis.
- Source for potential suppliers for raw materials, goods, spare parts and services used in daily operations and office.
- Monitor the purchase of goods, materials, spare parts and services to ensure that the company’s operational needs are met, considering price, quality, and delivery and ensuring continuity of supply.
- Responsible for preparing and compiling documents for payment purposes, assuring documents are approved per the company’s policy and submitted to the Finance Department on time, and monitoring the three-way matching of the PO/invoice/delivery note.
- Any other ad-hoc task as assigned from time to time by the superior.
Requirements:
- Positive attitude, proactive and good communication skills;
- Detailed, efficient, good time management skills
- Able to work under pressure and minimum supervision.
Qualification:
- Certificate/Diploma in any field
- PC literate – Knowledge of SQL is an added advantage
- Working experience in the production/construction industry will be an added advantage
- Possess own transport;
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in purchasing roles
