Purchasing Manager - Innovative Company

Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for supplier relation management, implementing supplier business reviews and building long term business relationship to drive supplier performance in sustainable and systematic ways.
• Developing and establishing supplier management systems and effective management.
• To monitor the tender process, make recommendations on methodology to achieve completeness of supply and minimize future scope changes.
• Support and early involvement of major projects’ procurement planning.
• Sourcing for new suppliers of raw materials, engineering, equipment, etc.
• Responsible for price comparison of raw materials and various materials engineering domestically and abroad
• To lead respective section in handling daily activities and monitoring team performance, supervise and provide training to subordinate

Requirements:

• Possesses Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain/ Logistic Management, Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in managing procurement activities in similar environment and experience in manufacturing will be added advantage.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in managerial position in large scale manufacturing company.
• Dynamic, independent, and a team player with excellent communication skills.
• Must be well-organized person, good time management, execution ability and attentive to details.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• SAP experience or other ERP tools are an added advantage
• Able to speak in Mandarin and English. Mandarin speaking is a MUST as you need to communicate in Mandarin with the Top Management and engage with Chinese Shareholder. 
• Have experience in engineering contracting and management
• Familiar with procurement and inventory management of raw materials
• Willing to undergo training in mainland China for duration 3-6 months.
