QA Automation Engineer - Software Engineer (JB) - Positive Work Culture

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with product managers, development teams, and other stakeholders to comprehend project requirements, ensuring the creation of pertinent and effective test cases and scenarios.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts running on mobile phones, leveraging Python3, NodeJS, and ADB.
• Develop new test cases to cover new and existing features, bug fixes, and enhancements, guaranteeing comprehensive test coverage.
• Execute and analyze automated tests, promptly identifying defects, performance issues, and other quality-related matters.
• Maintain and update the existing automated test suite to reflect modifications in the application's functionality and user interface.
• Participate and contribute insights on automation best practices and testing methodologies.
• Design, implement, and maintain stress and performance test scripts, and to compile and present the results for thorough analysis, using JavaScript (NodeJS) / Python and HTTP API / WebSockets.
• Continuously refine testing processes, tools, and strategies to optimize the efficiency and efficacy of the QA team.
• Collaborate with developers to understand the application's architecture and technical specifications, enhancing the effectiveness of automated testing endeavors.
• Contribute occasionally to automation projects on an on demand basis.

Job Requirements:

• Preferably developers with Diploma/ Advanced/ Higher/ Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/ Professional Degree in Engineering (Computer/ Telecommunication), Computer Science/ Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Candidates with equivalent technical skills are ENCOURAGED to apply.
• Proficiency in Python3 and JavaScript (NodeJS) is required.
• Knowledge of React & MongoDB along with HTTP API and WebSockets is advantageous.
• Candidates should possess exceptional analytical skills, coupled with an unyielding attention to detail and a penchant for troubleshooting complex issues.
• Candidates should possess a strong understanding of software development life cycle, testing methodologies, and agile practices.
• Candidates should possess exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, facilitating seamless collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
• Candidates should be highly organized and self-driven, with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Candidates should possess a proactive attitude towards learning and adopting new technologies.
• Proven track record as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role, with a robust background in mobile phone related testing / stress testing would be advantageous.
• Preferably developers with working experience. However, fresh graduates who possess equivalent skillsets are encouraged to apply.
• Required Language(s): English, Mandarin (Candidate needs to liaise with Mandarin-speaking counterparts).
