Qualification & Experience
- SPM, STPM, Cert or Diploma in a relevant field
- Experience in a QA or Manufacturing environment experience preferred
- Able to interpret drawing/ blueprints and other drawings that detail product specifications
- Familiar in use of microscope & measurement equipment such as micrometer, measuring scope
- Able to work rotating hours and perform overtime as required to meet operational deadline.
Job Duties
- Conduct daily inspections, testing and analysis of product (new, existing and competitive testing of both raw materials and finished goods) and processes according to QA specification using appropriate inspection equipment
- Perform First Piece Checks and all additional products as needed.
- Ensure that the daily quality testing and activities are carried out
- Assist QA engineer to follow up and coordinate product quality issue which are detected
- Evaluate fabrication/ finishing part received from machinist and vendor according to drawing specification
- Provide detailed quality issue related to manufacturing
- Liaise with production for resampling when non-conformity is found
- Approve parts which conform to specifications and reject, identify and record parts that fail to comply with specification
- Ensure document or drawing revision is in accordance to the Company's standards in timely, clear and organized manner
- Responsible to set up equipment/ program for parts inspection
- Responsible to prepare data for graphs or charts plotting
- Report of non-conformity inspected parts to QA engineer
- Responsible to perform measurement for RO or create measurement program for FA part according to drawing
- Assist to perform new and existing product testing (upon request by QA Engineer)
- Prepare quality related documentation and samples to be used at work centers (as assigned).
