Primary duties and responsibilities:
1. Regulation affair
- Manage licenses for food sales business.
- Ensure proper marking of products manufactured in Malaysia (in house, OEM).
- Oversight of the C2C process:
Export: Preparation of export documents for Malaysian products.
Import: Review compliance of imported product specifications and labeling
with Malaysian laws.
2. OEM co packer management
- Manage OEM partners:
- Establish inspection checklists for each product and oversee production inspections
- Verify quality when changes occur in equipment, processes, or raw materials.
- Monitor partner company processes to identify outliers
- Improve quality of OEM partner
- Analyze customer claims, manage VOC (Voice of the Customer) status, and lead improvement activities.
- Conduct regular food safety (GMP) audits for OEM partners
- Establishment of production plan and inventory management focusing on raw materials and packaging
- Manage rental equipment and perform due diligence for invested molds and facilities.
3. OEM partner selection
- Conduct pre inspections of new companies, assessing quality systems and facility readiness.
- Perform audits for selecting new partners, considering manufacturing and quality aspects
- Conduct Selection Audit from a perspective of manufacturing and quality according to the new business types , new products, and new companies
4. New product Implementation
- Lead DR (Desi gn Review) processes for new products, ensuring compliance and safety.
- Oversee DR2 (product design verification) and DR3 (mass production inspection) processes
Skills & knowledge requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master's Degree in Food Safety/Quality Assurance, Food Technology or related fields
- Minimum 5 years of Foods production, QA/QC, SCM experience within the food industry
- Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety management certifications
- Excellent communication- influencing- and problem-solving skills
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
