Qlik Developer (Banking Domain)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Qlik Developer with experience in banking and financial services to design, develop, and maintain data visualization and BI solutions using QlikView and/or Qlik Sense. The candidate should have strong expertise in data modeling, ETL scripting, and dashboard development, along with exposure to banking data such as transactions, risk, compliance, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using QlikView / Qlik Sense
• Build efficient data models and ETL scripts using Qlik scripting
• Integrate data from multiple sources such as:
• Core Banking Systems
• SQL Databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
• APIs / flat files
• Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements
• Optimize dashboards for performance and scalability
• Implement data security and governance in Qlik applications
• Perform data validation and troubleshooting
• Support regulatory and MIS reporting for banking operations
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts, and Business Teams

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Qlik Sense and/or QlikView
• Expertise in:
• Data Modeling (Star/Snowflake Schema)
• Qlik scripting (ETL)
• Dashboard design & visualization best practices
• Strong SQL knowledge
• Experience with data warehousing concepts
• Good understanding of banking domain:
• Retail Banking
• Payments / Transactions
• Risk & Compliance
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization

Preferred Skills

• Experience with tools like NPrinting for reporting
• Knowledge of Python / R for data analysis (optional)
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Understanding of regulatory reporting (RBI, Basel norms, AML, KYC)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Relevant certifications in Qlik (optional but preferred)
