Quality Assurance Engineer

Main Mission

The Quality Assurance Engineer will be instrumental in scaling our clients operations by designing and maintaining robust quality management frameworks across the entire project lifecycle. His primary objective is to embed quality into the workflow—from initial prospection to final delivery.

Our client is a global leader in the design, manufacturing, installation, and maintenance of equipments for demanding industries such as oil & gas, nuclear, military, and renewable energy.

Headquartered in France, our client is expanding its footprint in Asia with a regional office in Malaysia to support key international projects and strengthen partnerships across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Management

• Create and manage quality documentation (ITP, WPS, PQP, FAT checklists, material certificates, etc.).

• Oversee Non-Conformity Reports (NCRs) and follow up on corrective and curative actions.

• Continuously develop and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001.

• Perform the internal ISO 9001 audit

• Coordinate any external quality audit including yearly ISO 9001 audit

Project Involvement

• Participate in Kick-Off Meetings with clients when required.

• Collaborate with the production and project teams to ensure smooth execution and high-quality delivery.

• Occasionally travel to France or other countries for short technical missions.

Work Relationships

• Reports directly to the Director.

• Works closely with:

  • Industrial Manager

  • Project Engineers

  • Production engineer

  • Quality Control engineer

  • Local suppliers and clients

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Quality Assurance or Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials, and industrial manufacturing processes.

• Certified ISO 9001 internal auditor is a strong added value

• Proven ability to develop and manage quality documentation (ITP, WPS, PQP, FAT, etc.).

• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001).

• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

• Knowledge of Oil & Gas industry standards is a plus.

• Open-minded, methodical, and able to work in an international environment.
