Quality Control Specialist

Quality Assurance & Control (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)

As an Incoming Quality Control Specialist, you will play a critical role in inspecting and verifying the quality of incoming raw materials and ingredients. You will ensure that all materials meet the company's quality standards and comply with food safety regulations. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect and verify the quality of incoming raw materials and ingredients against specified standards and specifications.
• Conduct physical, chemical, and sensory evaluations of materials to ensure they meet quality and safety requirements.
• Document and report inspection results, including any non-conformances or quality issues.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain and update quality control records and documentation.
• Participate in supplier audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with relevant food safety standards and regulations, including HACCP, GMP, and ISO standards.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in quality control within the food manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using quality control instruments and software.
• Certification in HACCP, GMP, or ISO standards is a plus.
