Quality Technician - Generous Compensation

Position Purpose

The position is responsible to conduct the quality inspection in compliance to SOP & KORE requirement. Support and execute the activities required by the operational team to ensure all parameters are inspected according to the SOP.

Key Duties / Responsibilities

• To perform quality & food safety parameters for the below area done accurately & documented,Raw material, incoming packaging material
• Blending process approval, tea extraction, hot fill line, pet line, can line, BIB line and etc
• Sensory, samples retention
• Data integrity (no missing data)
• To ensure the routine testing is comply to the quality plan and SOP.
• Able to act & perform immediate action to address non-conforming quality attribute(s) as according to out of spec SOPs to minimize qty of non-conforming product.
• To perform immediate action to address non-conforming quality attribute(s) as according to out of spec SOPs to minimize quantity of non-conforming product. Follow up on issues and monitor regularly at the line.
• To perform equipment in-house calibrations, BEC & preventive maintenance done on timely manner.
• Responsible for good laboratory hygiene and practices, 5S, GMP & schedule waste disposal. Good practice with ‘Clean as u go’.
• Responsible for data entry, perform daily which is required to be accurate for analysis and reporting purpose.
• Support rework activity.
• Perform assigned duties by the Shift Executive / Manager within a given time frame.

Qualification Criteria

• Education: STPM holder (2 years' experience), Diploma & Degree in Chemistry, Food Science/Food Technology, BTech in Food Technology (0 - 2 years' experience)
• Experience: Min 1 - 2 years' relevant experience in beverage manufacturing environment or any other related field. Fresh graduates is encouraged.
• Qualification:
• Ability to interact with all personnel including from other department.
• Knowledge of food safety regulatory requirements (HACCP) and management quality system.
• Understanding of KPIs and its drive criteria.
• To set a good example to team members.
• Flexible and open-minded and willingness to try new ways and able to learn new skills, adapt to new development, self-critical attitude and impartial.
• Able to work on shift.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English & Bahasa Malaysia.
• Location Base : Bandar Enstek (Negeri Sembilan)
• Contract : 6 Months
