Job Responsibilities:

• Cost Estimation: Develop accurate cost estimates for construction projects, considering materials, labor, and other expenses.
• Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and expenses throughout the construction phase, identifying and addressing any cost overruns or variances.
• Procurement: Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive bids for materials and services, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Contract Management: Review and negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project requirements and budget constraints.
• Quantity Takeoffs: Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from architectural and engineering drawings to determine material quantities for procurement and cost estimation.
• Risk Assessment: Identify and assess potential risks and uncertainties in construction projects, developing strategies to mitigate their impact on cost and schedule.
• Value Engineering: Collaborate with project teams to identify opportunities for value engineering, optimizing project costs without compromising quality or performance.
• Claims Management: Evaluate and negotiate change orders, claims, and disputes related to project scope, schedule, and cost.
• Cost Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely cost reports for project stakeholders, highlighting key financial metrics and variances from budgeted costs.
