Adhere to all departmental patient policies and Centre’s policies and guidelines at all times, providing high standard of safe practice for patient care.
Deliver frontline services relating to the imaging department in an efficient manner to achieve the customer satisfaction standard set by the organization.
Handle and care for all, ultrasound, echocardiogram, cardiac catheter, CT scan and X-ray machines and accessories, including managing and liaising with technicians on any breakdown/repairs, and ensure that all users adhere to good practices on radiation safety at all times.
Conduct, monitor and record all examinations carried out, and ensure that the examinations are properly executed is in line with the instructions of the doctor and appropriate procedures, selection and exposures, and report the results accordingly.
Record all necessary documentation in patient’s records while maintaining confidentiality of patient information at all times.
Contribute as required to the development of services and policies in the Cardiology Department.
Provide first line management, electrical safety checking and calibration of all imaging equipment, and ensure regular preventive maintenance checks (PPM) are conducted.
Support nursing, medical and technician staff in the implementation of patient care.
Assist in imaging and cardiology or any healthcare department licensing with CKAPS, Ministry of Health Malaysia
