Role and Responsibilities:
1. Assist the team to innovate and create new recipes and ideas, improving existing products and involves in cost-saving projects.
2. Execute and evaluate product benchmarking and product testing on a regular basis.
3. Conceptualize and execute ideations for flour, further processed products, retort products, sauce in consideration of ideas and market demand.
4. Plan, manage and run tests on new food products and improve the preparation methods to meet mass production and regulatory needs.
5. Execute product demo sessions and product presentation for customers.
6. Documentation of R&D results.
7. Perform any other duty as assigned by superior.
8. Conduct sensory evaluations of current and alternative food ingredients.
9. Assist with product/supply labelling, ingredient lists, and regulatory compliance.
10. With competition product analysis, to assist organization to stay on top of the latest trends, customer data, and competitor plans.
11. Within the scope and demands of R&D, establish food quality and safety parameters for all goods through the validation and verification of recipes and procedures such as HALAL, HACCP, ISO 22000, and others.
12. Perform any other duty as assigned by superior.
Requirements:
1. Diploma in Culinary/ Food Service or a related discipline is preferred.
2. Positive attitude toward job.
