Responsibilities:
- Talent Planning & Acquisition
- Support and execute talent acquisition policies and procedures to support business growth
- Support in performing manpower planning to ensure optimal headcount support
- Centralise workforce data by compiling trends, including pay rates, performance reviews, retention rates, and headcount, for both retrospective analysis and future manpower planning
- Support and coordinate talent acquisition activities in accordance with the talent acquisition plan
- Manage and maintain accurate and updated records related to recruitment and onboarding activities
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to employment, including work permits and background checks
- Prepare offer letters, contracts, and other employment-related documents
- Analyse recruitment and onboarding processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices
- Provide reports and metrics on recruitment and onboarding activities to HR leadership when required
- Address ad-hoc tasks given by direct manager as needed to ensure seamless operations
2. Recruitment
- Collaborate with departmental managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates, ensuring a diverse pool of qualified applicants
- Conduct reference checks and coordinate pre-employment assessments as necessary
- Support in developing templates and tools to standardise and support recruitment process
- Manage internal and external stakeholder needs and satisfaction levels by providing timely responses
3. Onboarding
- Coordinate and conduct new employee orientations, ensuring a smooth transition into
the organisation - Collaborate with the Product/ Marketing/ Sales business unit(s) to customise product onboarding materials
- Develop and update onboarding materials, including welcome kits, training manuals, and presentations
- Liaise with IT and other relevant business units to ensure all necessary resources are prepared for
new hires
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 1 to 5 years’ experience in recruitment and onboarding roles, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting (fresh graduates also welcome to apply)
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Experience in employer branding and recruitment marketing would be a plus
- People-oriented and results-driven
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and work well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Strong understanding of current trends and best practices in talent management
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
